About This Project

Why SyncToScale was created, what it demonstrates, and how it was built.

The Purpose

SyncToScale is a fictional SaaS platform created by Christy (Christy M.) as a portfolio project to demonstrate real-world skills in Technical Account Management, Customer Success, Implementation, API reasoning, troubleshooting, and AI-assisted support design.

The goal was to build a project that reflects the types of systems TAMs, CSMs, and onboarding specialists work with every day: workflow logic, integrations, dependency mapping, error handling, customer education, and scalable self-serve resources.

What This Project Demonstrates

  • Technical troubleshooting with API-style errors and root-cause analysis
  • Understanding of SaaS automation platforms & integrations
  • Workflow thinking and cross-system logic design
  • Customer education structure (FAQs, documentation, best practices)
  • AI-driven support assistant creation (SyncBot Nova)
  • Frontend build and GitHub Pages deployment
  • Branding, UX writing, and knowledge architecture

How SyncBot Nova Was Built

SyncBot Nova is an AI support assistant powered by Chatbase. It was trained using:

  • A custom knowledge base describing SyncToScale’s features, API, errors, and use cases
  • Instructions on tone, troubleshooting structure, and behavior
  • Special recruiter-facing “meta” knowledge so Nova can explain why the project exists

Nova provides answers about the platform, debugging guidance, API logic, and information about the purpose of the project—making it a guided, interactive portfolio piece.

Tech & Tools Used

  • HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (fully custom-coded)
  • GitHub Pages for hosting
  • Chatbase for the embedded AI chatbot
  • Custom branding & visuals (including SyncBot Nova’s icon)

Try Asking SyncBot Nova

To understand the project better, ask Nova:

  • “Who created SyncToScale?”
  • “Why was SyncToScale built?”
  • “What skills does this project demonstrate?”
  • “How was SyncBot Nova trained?”
  • “What would Christy’s role be in a real SaaS environment?”
